FY26 Community Sponsorship Program - CLOSED
The Port of Portland (POPL) Community Sponsorship Program reflects POPL’s commitment to supporting the local community by funding initiatives that align with its values and contribute to regional development. The program provides financial assistance to not-for-profit and community organisations within the Glenelg Shire, focusing on education, community welfare, environmental improvement, and inclusive sporting activities. Eligible groups can apply for funding of up to $5,000.
POPL will consider sponsorship that supports the following categories:
– Education
– Community welfare programs or initiatives
– Environmental improvement initiatives
– Sporting Clubs and events
This program is now CLOSED. Applications for the next program will be received from 1 April 2026.
Port of Portland is excited to introduce its ELEVATE Sponsorship Program – CLOSED
The ELEVATE sponsorship program supports young people from regional areas aged 12 to 25 who face distance-related challenges in sports, arts and culture. It provides financial assistance to help individuals access training, compete, and showcase their talents. More than just funding, ELEVATE breaks down barriers, fosters talent, and creates opportunities for young people to thrive and reach their full potential.
Thank you to all applications, the FY26 ELEVATE Sponsorship program allocation is now exhausted.
