No. 6 Berth Dredging Project
No. 6 Berth dredging works are required to allow the safe mooring of large vessels on No. 6 Berth, which are predominantly associated with the export of forestry products. Proposed works include the dredging of material from the western end of No. 6 Berth and disposal of this spoil as reclamation material in the lagoon area between the Maritime Discovery Centre and the Lee Breakwater.
This area, once reclaimed, will be used for an overflow area for a range of community uses.
