Safety by all means

Flotilla is a volunteer search and rescue organisation, which uses the expertise of different organisational members (SES, Surf Life Saving, CFA, RAV, police, etc.) as well as fishermen and other interested parties.

Members are constantly training in communications and seamanship. This has allowed Flotilla to man emergency radio frequencies on weekends and public holidays between 0800 and 1800 hours.

For more information, please call Portland Coast Guard on 0418 370 588, or contact the communications room on (03) 5523 1666. Flotilla meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at Mibus House in Barkly Street.

If you are boating and in need of assistance we are available on:

Radio 88 on the 27Mghz band
Radio 16 on the VHF Band
We monitor 2,4,6 emergency channels and 2524 KHZ on HF Radio

If you require help when we are not on duty, please contact the police on 000.
