Lindsay Ward has over 30 years' experience in front line business leadership positions in a broad range of industries, including power generation, gas transmission, ports, renewables, rail haulage, mining, exploration, mineral processing, transport and logistics as a General Manager, CEO, Managing Director and NED. 

Lindsay has previously worked with Patrick, Pacific National, Toll, Yallourn Energy, Camberwell Coal, Western Mining and BHP.

Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Graduate Diploma of Business Management and is an experienced Director of both listed and unlisted companies in the Port, Bulk Handling, Infrastructure and Resources industries.

Chum Darvall - Director

Chum Darvall is a non-executive director for a range of companies, government and not for profit organisations.  He had a successful executive career in financial markets and banking for 30 years from 1981-2011.

Chum was the Chairman of TransGrid from 2012 – 2015. Transgrid is the owner, operator and manager of the high voltage network connecting generators in NSW and ACT.  His role with TransGrid concluded on 16 December 2015 with the successful sale of the business via a 99-year lease by the State Government of New South Wales for $10.26 Billion.

From 2002 – March 2011 Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Bank in Australia and New Zealand from July 2002 to March 2011.  During this period Deutsche Bank business expanded and consolidated as one of the leading investment banks in Australia and New Zealand.

In September 1994 joined Deutsche Bank as Director Treasury managing the money market, swaps and foreign exchange units and group funding.  In early 1998, he became Head of Global Markets responsible for all debt market-related activities.  He was part of the management group responsible for the merger and integration of the New Zealand operation of Bankers Trust with Deutsche Bank in 1999.

From 1985-1994 Chum worked in the financial market division of Westpac Banking Group in a range of senior roles including Head of Capital Markets in Australia and later serving in Japan from 1990-1994 as Head of Markets, Tokyo branch.

From 1981-1985, he worked with BA Australia Ltd, a subsidiary of Bank of America, managing the funding for the merchant bank in 1984-1985.

Other Achievements

Represented Australia in the 1978 Commonwealth Games – bronze medal in the 4 x 400m relay.
In 2007 awarded the Kerry Packer award by the Australian Cricketers Association for service to the ACA Player Hardship Fund.
In June 2014 awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for service to the finance and banking sector and through contributions to not-for-profit organisations and the performing arts.

Alastair Pollock - Director

Alastair joined Palisade Investment Partners in 2016 and is responsible for the acquisition and management of infrastructure assets in the Australian and New Zealand market.

Immediately prior to joining Palisade, Alastair was an Executive Director at Gresham Partners in the Sydney corporate advisory team.  During his time at Gresham Partners, Alastair advised on transactions across a range of sectors including transport, infrastructure, building materials and financial services.

Prior to joining Gresham Partners, Alastair was a Vice President at Merrill Lynch within the Transport and Infrastructure Investment Banking team.  At Merrill Lynch, Alastair worked on a number of major infrastructure privatisations, including the initial public offering of QR National (now Aurizon).

Alastair is also a Director of ANZ Terminals Pty Ltd, an independent operator of bulk liquid and gas storage facilities with plants located throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Alastair holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance (Honours) from Macquarie University.
